30 Days +VE Challenge! - Part 1

Credit goes to Jacqueline for this motivational bunny~

Some time ago there was a trend on Facebook named 7 days positivity challenge (if I am not mistaken) where each day you count three little blessings that happened, post them on Facebook and tag a friend to participate in this challenge in order to generate positive aura in yourself and also spread it on social media. So I guess it's time for me to do a 30 days challenge as I really need some optimism in my life right now to cope better with the accumulating stresses and negativity!

Day 1 (7/10/16)

1) This morning was started with a gloomy rainy weather, which I quite enjoyed since I did not have to brave through the rain to go to class.

2) Went to IGEM 2016 and met some friendly Japanese companies' spokepersons who patiently explain to us regarding their green technologies and products even though we are not potential business partners.

2) Had a nice Vietnamese lunch in KLCC with my fellow coursemates. We had not really chatted with each other for quite some time!

Erika, me and Nigel~

Day 2 (8/10/16)

1) It's Saturday and I could stick to See Yen whole day since we could not see each other on weekdays.

2) Had a very nice vegan sandwich filled with mushrooms from a a cafe named Brew and Bread.

3) One of the best feelings in the world is to be accepted and not be judged even though your diet is different from normal people and!

This was the only vegan option on the menu - Truffle Mushrooms

Day 3 (9/10/16)

1) Did a grocer shopping at Jaya Grocer for my 2-week supplies of food! I have enjoyed grocer shopping since I turned vegan, it's just so satisfying to pick whatever you want to cook and eat~

2) Eaten half a papaya after dinner~ The papaya harvest had not gone well two months ago, so I guess it's ok now!

3) Finally tried The Tapping Tapir lemonade & lengkuas soda drinks after seeing it at Whisk for a looooooong time! Well I don't really like it (RM11 per bottle), but the packaging is cute!

That's See Yen at the background. :P

Day 4 (10/10/16)

1) It's so comfortable and refreshing to start the day with a hot shower! (Well I use a kettle to boil the water, hehe.)

2) Had an afternoon swim with my friends in the crystal clear swimming pool of UPM (the entrance fee is only RM2!!!).

3) Made a not-so-authentic Korean cucumber kimchi using MommyTang's recipe. It turned out pretty good that I ate the whole cucumber!

Day 5 (11/10/16)

1) It seems like my coursemate Erika is getting the best academic award for last year! She has been really hardworking and I am glad that she made it~

2) The Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) class ended half an hour early today! It's such a relief to get away from a slow-paced lecture, hehe.

3) It rained pretty sudden after I just got back from class (and decided not to go swimming), thank God!

The rainy weather that is no obvious from this view. Thanks Sharon for borrowing me this beautiful curtain for one semester!

Day 6 (12/10/16)

1) Managed to change my train tickets at KL Sentral since I bought the wrong one online last week as I thought the mid-semester break is one week earlier than I have expected!

2) The public transportation was pretty smooth today and the waits were not that agitating as I was reading Narnia on my ebook to distract myself~

3) Bought a cheaper vegan ramen at Sam's Groceria at NU Sentral ~

Added some Korean red pepper paste since it is not spicy like the non-vegan version~

Day 7 (13/10/16)

1) Russet potato tastes amazing even if it is cold!

2) Repeatedly listening to Mayday's new song named Well. It sings my feelings and my soul~

3) There is only one more paper left tomorrow!

[no photo today though :P]
